6-8 English : Response to Skype with Tom Armstead
1/2-1 page  (1 page for 8th graders)
First paragraph: summary of who, what, when, where, how, why
Second paragraph: highlights of talking with him - what did you learn?
Third paragraph: reflection on what you learned - What did you learn about someone serving in the Armed Forces? Do you know anyone who is in the service? Who? Connection? Was this Skype worthwhile? Why or why not?
 
Read "Seventh Grade" in your text book, pages 114-120
